We are the Addictions and Concurrent Disorders (ACD) Research Group within the Institute of Mental Health at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Our team is comprised of interdisciplinary students and researchers from Canada and around the globe under the direction of Dr. Michael Krausz, Professor of Psychiatry and Leadership Chair for Addiction Research at UBC.
We conduct research on substance use and concurrent disorders among vulnerable populations and we are dedicated to improving the lives of those who lived and are living with substance use and concurrent disorders and are affected by the overdose crisis.
Our team is currently working on several projects in the fields of e-Mental Health, addictions, adolescent and youth mental health, trauma, and homelessness. Please explore our website for more information about our current research projects, publications, and opportunities to get involved.
