The first in an annual series of e-mental health conferences hosted by CHÉOS (The Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences), this event showcased existing technologies that have been developed into connectivity-based mental health services. Along with improved care access and delivery, the application of social media and social networking sites are now providing novel routes for delivering knowledge, providing feedback and generating inspiration.
At this conference, health care providers were given unique opportunities to connect, discuss their shared interest in this technology and to participate in the development of a new stage in mental health and addiction service delivery.
